Join us at the superb Higham open-air amphitheatre and see The Oddsocks perform their hysterical comedy version of Julius Caesar.

HBBC 50 Open Exhibition, a celebration of our borough through the decades.

In 2024, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council celebrates its 50th year as a borough council. With that in mind, we are looking closer to home for inspiration for this year's open exhibition.

Artists are welcome to submit up to three pieces in any medium for £12. Submission week is 01/07/2024 to 05/07/2024 at Atkins Building. For further information, please email info@atkinsbuilding.co.uk.

Wild Play 2024 - Minibeasts

Wild Play children's activities at Burbage Common - Minibeasts, run by Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust.

Booking is essential. 

Activities include hunting for minibeasts, crafts, a quiz trail and games. 

For children aged two to 12 years. Cost £6 per child, maximum of 20 places available. 

Children must be accompanied by a booked adult. One adult per family group, up to a maximum of three children. 

There are two sessions:

  • The first session runs from 10:00 to 11:30
  • The second session is from 12:30 to 14:00

Places are limited, so please call 01455 255728 to book (a non-refundable payment will be taken on booking).

Meet at the Visitor's Centre. Please come dressed for being outside - waterproof jacket and boots, sun cream and sun hat for children, and accompanying adult. 

No dogs are allowed at Wild Play sessions.
